This policy explains how Blutech IoT Limited ("Blutech", "we") handles personal data collected through blutech.io. We follow the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (Cap. 486) of Hong Kong.
What we collect
When you use our contact form, we collect your name, company, email address or phone number, and the message you write. If you email or call us, we receive the details you choose to give.
When you visit the site, our hosting and security provider processes technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested. This is needed to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.
How we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and discuss the products, projects or services you ask about.
- To keep a record of our business communications.
- To keep the website secure and working properly.
We do not sell your personal data. We do not use it for direct marketing unless you have given us your consent.
Who we share it with
We share personal data only where needed for the purposes above:
- Service providers that run the website and deliver our email, currently Cloudflare (hosting and security) and Resend (email delivery).
- Blutech colleagues in Hong Kong, mainland China or Qatar who need to help answer your enquiry.
- Authorities, where the law requires it.
Some of these providers may process data outside Hong Kong. We use them only for the purposes described here.
Cookies
We do not use analytics or advertising cookies. Our hosting provider may set strictly necessary cookies to protect the site from automated abuse.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry records only as long as necessary for the purposes above, and to meet legal or accounting requirements, and then delete them.
Security
We take reasonable steps to protect personal data against unauthorised access, loss or misuse. The website is served over an encrypted connection (HTTPS).
Your rights
You may ask to access or correct the personal data we hold about you, or ask us to stop using it for a purpose you previously agreed to. Email enquiry@blutech.io. We will respond within the time required by law, and may charge a reasonable fee for a data access request, as the Ordinance allows.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed. If the language versions differ, the English version applies.
