Blutech connects cubicle availability, environmental conditions and service events to live displays and a shared operations dashboard. Designed for property teams managing busy washrooms in offices, airports, hospitals and shopping centres.
Live cubicle availability and facility information
HeatMap sensing and project-selected door sensors provide occupancy signals. Vacancy indicators and Smart Info Station displays help visitors find available facilities, while Halo gives authorised teams a floorplan view.
Cleaning and service workflows
Bring occupancy, indoor air quality, service requests and water-leak events into one operating view. Teams can use current conditions and event history to prioritise checks and agree response workflows instead of relying only on fixed rounds.
Retrofit and system integration
LoRaWAN gateways connect distributed devices to Blutech Core. Bluetooth supports selected local responses. Existing BMS connections, data mapping, power and network requirements are agreed for each project.
A passenger-facing and operator-facing smart-washroom system connecting facility supplies, leakage, occupancy, lighting and indoor-air-quality information.
What to measure in a pilot
Measure availability visibility, service response time and the number of manual checks before and after a pilot. The EMSD case study documents 230 connected cubicles across B1–6/F; project scope and operating results differ by site.
Questions about this solution
Does a smart washroom need cameras?
No. Blutech uses thermal occupancy sensing and, where appropriate, mmWave or door sensors without conventional camera imagery in private spaces.
Can Blutech upgrade an existing washroom?
Yes. The scope can start with selected cubicles or one floor. A site survey confirms wireless coverage, sensor placement, display locations and the interfaces needed by the property team.
